Hold My Beer

Hold My Beer – Federated Auto Parts 400

I know we haven’t done one of these in a while but for those who are new to the website, Hold My Beer is the segment that features some of the highlights where you can imagine drivers saying, “Hold my beer and watch this!”

The driver this week doesn’t drive in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, but still managed to be the Hold My Beer winner. An ambulance driver parked on the apron of the track right by the entrance of pit road thanks to a miscommunication between the driver and NASCAR.

OOPS.

Matt Kenseth’s car was the notable one to receive damage thanks to a domino effect of a crash due to the ambulance’s location, which obviously didn’t help in his efforts to make the playoffs (he was a bubble driver). However, he was still able to make it into the playoffs on points.
