#TBT – Open Wheel Racing

Throwback Thursday is the segment that takes you down Memory Lane for the races each week. I know I haven’t done a Throwback Thursday in a while, but we’re focusing on some open-wheel racing for this week.

2014 Beijing ePrix

In the very first Formula ePrix, there was a huge wreck at the very end. Needless to say, it was kind of a scary wreck.

2011 Indy 500

It looked like JR Hildebrand was going to be the winner of the Indy 500 – until he wrecked in the final corner. Dan Wheldon would go on to win, and it would turn out to be his final win.

2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

I think this is one of Kimi Raikkonen’s most popular radio quote. His team wanted to keep him updated on how he was doing compared to Fernando Alonso as well as how his tires were doing and Kimi wasn’t having it.
