Battle of the Beers – NASCAR’s All Star Race

The Battle of the Beers is the weekly drinking game focusing on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. News, discussion topics and other themes of the week are highlighted and in proper Brake and Clutch form, we target them for a drinking game.

Preferred Beer: Heineken (if you listen to thedailymeal.com, that was their favorite beer out of the best-selling beers in the U.S. and we’re going for an all-star beer here)

Drinking Game

-If they talk about the NASCAR Next class of 2018, finish your drink.

-If they discuss Catwalk for a Cause and how much money the event raised, take a shot.

-If they go into the news about legalized gambling and what it could mean for NASCAR, finish your drink.

-There’s a rappelling challenge and fundraising event scheduled at the NASCAR Hall of Fame scheduled for late September, so if they mention that, take a drink.

-If they mention Hertz’s new sponsorship of William Byron, take a drink.

-If they talk about the wreck between Byron and Clint Bowyer, take a shot.

-If they talk about the drama between Chase Elliott and Ricky Stenhouse Jr, take a shot.

-If they discuss all the problems with inspection lately, finish your drink.

-If they mention Camping World’s sponsorship extension and name change of the truck series (it’ll become the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series), take a drink.

-I’m not sure if they’ll mention this, but if they discuss a recent college grad’s NASCAR-style post-graduation video (I apologize for all the links this week and I promise this is the last one, but you can view it here), take a drink.

This week, we take on the Ford EcoBoost 400, happening at Homestead Miami Speedway on November 19th at 3 pm.

-Feel NASCAR Offseason Disorder start to hit? Take a shot. (I’ll probably be doing the same.)

-If Justin Allgaier’s crew chief being suspended is brought up, take a drink.

-If they talk about who won the Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series championships, finish your drink.
